Jeepspeed Racer Takes 3rd Place Secured with Status Racing

The Jeepspeed races are pretty unique in the rules and regulations to keep competition down to the driver.  Our sponsored driver, Joey Miller, took to the dirt this past weekend in his red Jeep Cherokee built truck and finished in 3rd place.  Joey is rocking a set of Status Racing red 5 point harnesses.  Our 5 and 6 point harnesses are FIA approved so they are legit and stylish at the same time.  The rotary release buckle makes it easy to get in and out and the shoulder belts tighten and loosen with simply lifting up or pulling down on the straps.  Congrats to this team!  Check out some of the pictures below.

New Ring GTX Seats for Vivid Racing Project Cars

Vivid Racing is equipping their Project 991 Turbo and Project Mini Cooper Countryman S JCW with some new Status Racing Ring GT-X bucket seats.  The first set for the Mini Cooper JCW is a throw back to the Laguna GT seat by Status.  It has a standard carbon fiber shell with white stitching and white logo.  The ultrasuede is done in black and features preforated leather inserts where the seats typically see the most action from hands or body.  The set for the Porsche 991 Turbo is done with a red carbon shell to pop along with the stock red seat belts and other red and carbon accutrements.  The all black leather seats featuring preforated seat cushions for better breathability are almost OEM like to the Porsche.  The headrests have a embossed Status logo much like the factory Porsche crest.  Enjoy these sneak shots from the factory in Washington State and stay tuned for full install photos.

New Status Racing Cloth Seat

Our standard cloth seats have been the cornerstone for Status Racing. It is our most popular seat out of all the options. With any company we are constantly trying to upgrade our product and make it the best it can be.

We’re excited to announce the release of our new 2014 Cloth seat. The material is more durable and easier to clean. After talking to Status Racing customers and using the seats ourselves, something that could withstand the daily use of getting in and out was necessary. This canvas-like material also gives a richer look to the seats. Although the cloth look stellar in most cars, at the end of the day, the cloth was not the ideal fabric to have for daily drivers. This new cloth gives you a high-class look with long lasting durability.

If you’re interested in purchasing a new cloth seat please email or find a Status dealer near you. Check out pictures of the new cloth seat and let us know what you think. You can tell us in the comment section below or on Facebook or Instagram. See full gallery here.

Status Harnesses Win 1st Place at Off-Road Expo

We introduced you to this off-road warrior back in February. In February, he was about to take-on the gladiator of off-road runs, known as the Mint 400. He made it through the gauntlet in the Mint 400 and has been taking it easy since then. Last month he won 1st place in his Baja Class at the Annual Off-Road Expo. We are pumped for Joey and the fact that he’s taking the Status Harnesses into a new world. The color goes perfect with his gray seats and the red exterior.

If you’re an off-road aficionado, or know someone who is, tell them about our infamous Status Racing Harnesses. Shop Status Racing Harnesses here.

Double Diamond Design Pioneered by our Customer

Our G37 customer is starting  a new Status trend. Similar to the double diamond complexity on a ski slope, our double diamond stitch seats are also upping their style complexity. It makes us think what the next Status pioneer will come up with.   He went with our luxurious Status Racing Spa Reclinable seats. The black suede makes your interior opulent, but then you add the double-diamond stitching and this thing makes a statement where ever it goes.

We always say it, but we’ll say it again. We CUSTOM make seats. Our people in Washington custom make every seat that is ordered. If you have a style design, color scheme, certain fabric type, we will work with you to create the seats of your dreams. We will post pictures of the seats once they are installed. Until then, tell us what you think of our very first ever double-diamond stitched Status seats.

Officer Dan Headed to Formula D in LB with Sexy Ring GT-X Seats

At the beginning of this month we announced our partnership with the zany, Officer Dan (aka Dan Brockett). As previously mentioned he will be running Status Racing seats in the Drift 4 video and his up coming events in the Formula Drift series.

We have been working with Dan and his team on the details of the partnership for a while now, but once it was a go, we had to rush his seats to get done in time for Long Beach next weekend. Another great reason why it rocks to have seats made in america, you can have a customized seat rushed, without losing quality or worrying about overseas shipping. Even though the order was rushed, we were able to grab some pictures before they left the warehouse in Washington. (Scroll for pictures)

Dan is a tall guy, so we got him fitted with our FIA Approved, Status Racing Ring GT-X seats with Carbon Fiber backing. He designed the fabric and stitching combination himself. He went with black ultra suede on the outer part of the seat and gray ultra suede, topped off with neon yellow diamond stitching down the middle. He used the neon stitching around the edge of the white logo. To go along with his FIA approved seats, he needed some FIA approved Status Racing 6 point harnesses.

Below are pictures of the seats in Washington, about to be shipped off. The second set of pictures, are ones that Dan posted on Facebook when he got the seats! We can’t wait to see them in the car and tearing it up on the track next weekend. Let us know what you think of the seat design. Tell us in the comment section below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram.

First Set of Red Carbon Seats Installed – Pictures

What’s sexier than red carbon backed Status Seats? Nothing! The red carbon seats were so popular that we only had them for a couple days to grab pictures before they were out the door and off to our customer in New York. The red carbon is such a cool addition to a Status seat. The variation of colors that the red carbon material displays in different lights is like have three seats in one. In direct light it look like a violent red, really loud and vibrant. In less light exposure they have Burgundy (no relation to Ron) color that is rich and classy. When it’s a bright day, but the sun isn’t directly on the seats it matches the stitching on the seat almost exactly. The blue carbon has a similar deviation of color.

We are excited to present you with pictures of our highly anticipated Red Carbon backed Status Racing Seats. The red carbon seats are accompanied by a set of our FIA Approved Harnesses. BRZ’s already get a lot of looks from the outside because of the shape, design and performance. Now this BRZ owner has a reason to flaunt his interior more than his exterior.

Let us know what you think of the Red carbon seats on this BRZ. You can tell us in the comment section below or on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram. If you want more information on Status Racing Seats, check us out on YouTube. We have videos showing how the seats are made, the different bluered, and WASP carbon seats up close and personal, along with our FIA approved seats being crash tested.
