Status Icon Customers READ HERE: The Status Icon configurator is based off an artist rendering. The colors and final look of the produced seat may slightly vary compared to the configurator. All Status Icon seats are special order and by ordering them, you agree to all terms. There are no cancellations or changes allowed after 5 days of your order date. Since this is a special order item, no returns of Status Icon seats. These have a lead time of 4-8 weeks depending on the complexity of the configuration ordered.

Status Racing has setup a worldwide dealer network to purchase its products. However, certain product lines are only available through StatusRacing.com and are available for purchase online. Your receipt of an order does not entitle you to that product and Status Racing reserves the right to cancel an order at anytime and refund the appropriate charges. Any custom order will require the customer to approve the order. A copy of your order will be emailed to you and you must sign and date then fax back to us.
Special Order Items
Some items may be special order specifically for the customers vehicle. These items generally require a deposit or paid in full. Once this deposit amount is notified to the customer and they agree to order the special order item, the deposit becomes non-refundable. These special order items cannot be returned or resold. Cancellations are not allowed on special order parts.
Status Racing accepts payments using Paypal.com. All payments received must be verified and/or confirmed. Status Racing will not ship to unconfirmed addresses. All orders are to be paid in full at the time of purchase unless we contact you otherwise.
All Status Racing products come with a limited warranty. These products are intended for competition use. Racing events can be dangerous and you can risk serious injury or death if your product is not installed correctly or maintained. Status Racing inspects each product before it is shipped out to pass our stringent safety and quality control checks. All racing seat shells come with a 5 year warranty against manufacture defects. Status Racing materials such as the padding and seat covers include a 1 year warranty against manufacture defects. Status Racing does not cover general use or wear and tear. All racing harness kits include a 5 year warranty.
Status Racing has gone through the difficult process to get its well known Status Ring seat approved for FIA certification. Only the Status Ring in FRP or Carbon Fiber is approved. The carbon/kevlar material and all of the Ring GT seats are NOT FIA certified. Our 4pt, 5pt, and 6pt harness kits are also FIA certified. FIA certification can be viewed here.
Shipping & Returns
All Status Racing products are shipped out of our Arizona location. We only ship using Fedex services both domestically and internationally. All products are carefully packaged and insured to insure proper delivery. We also include signature confirmation to make sure your package is delivered and received. In the event a product arrives damaged to your location, please follow the steps listed below. If these steps are not followed, your shipment may not be able to be a candidate for the insurance claim.
Immediately report it to shipping carrier. If not available, you must report this to Status Racing within 5 days of receiving your item. Take pictures of the damaged area of the product and email them to us at email@example.com referencing your name and order number. Keep the product in its original interior packaging and box. If you throw the packaging away, we cannot file a claim. Make a list of the damaged or lost item(s). Status Racing will contact the shipper once we receive the email info above to schedule a pickup, DO NOT send it back to us! Once the product is picked up and inspected by shipping company, a replacement will be sent when available.
If a product is ordered and not wanted, the UNUSED item can be returned for a 35% restocking fee. Shipping is not refundable in either direction. All items wanting to be return MUST be reported within 30 days of the receiving date. No items will be returnable after 30 days. Returns will only be authorized with a proper RMA number and form. The form must be in the box and the RMA written on the outside of the packaging. If you modify, install, or alter the item in any form, we cannot accept it as a return and you maybe be required to purchase a replacement.
In the event that the product you ordered is sent either incorrectly or processed wrong by Status Racing, we will arrange for the package to come back to us and ship out a replacement. We will evaluate the situation before we determine the shipment was incorrect.
To return a item back to us, please do the following:
- Contact our Customer Service Department to receive a RMA number.
- All packages returned without a Returned Merchandise Authorization number will be refused.
- Package the item up in original packaging unless deemed unuseable
- Include the UNUSED parts and any additional information that was included
- Include a copy of your receipt
- Write a brief description of the problem with the product
- We DO NOT accept any freight collect packages
