How Can I Get Sponsored?

Are you interested in becoming a Status Racing ambassador?

We get a lot of submissions, some of which are questionable (to say the least), while others are surprisingly legitimate. The big question is – What do you need to do to be approved for sponsorship?

The first thing you need to do is write a legit proposal!

You need to show us how dedicated you are to the scene. You can’t just slide into our DM’s telling us how cool your VQ looks on rep wheels. It’s about laying out what we can expect from you. Think of a sponsorship proposal as a job resume; sell yourself, make us want to say, “Hell yes”!  

Put your energy into describing yourself, your car’s specs, any awards you may have received, and any media exposure you have received. Make a list of the parts that you’re interested in and explain how our help can be beneficial to you. 

Get our attention and make us want to work with you!

I have a sick ass Miata on static. I get almost 100 likes on my social media posts man, you should sponsor me. All you have to do is give me some free seats, and I’ll put your sticker on my car and I’ll get 20 more fans wanting your stuff.

WHAT TO INCLUDE IN YOUR SPONSORSHIP APPLICATION: 

• Make sure you know about our products and show that you care 
• Provide a full proposal with renderings, a show schedule, and media contacts 
• Overdeliver on your promises 
• Describe what you would bring to Status and why you would be a good fit.  
• The more experience you have as a brand ambassador, the better

• Make yourself and your vehicle stand out
• Keep a professional attitude 

WHAT YOU DON’T WANT TO INCLUDE:

• Asking for free product 
• Don’t come unprepared 
• Sliding into our DM’s
• Thinking of sponsorship as “free stuff” without any return 
• Send an email or call without providing a proposal and submitting an application
